Hearing aid compatibility with latest iOS update

Phonak cros hearing aids will not connect or stay connected in Bluetooth since latest iOS update 18.3.2

I can’t spend my days connecting reconnecting restarting so I can hear. Is Apple working with phonak to fix this bug in the latest update?

Bluetooth Hearing aid signal drops in IOS 16 The Bluetooth connection was fine until I updated to IOS 16. Now, the signal is lost between my hearing aids and my phone anytime the phone plays any other sounds. The only way to get it back is to restart my hearing aids and open settings to hearing devices before it will re connect. IOS 18 and phonak hearing aids bluetooth problem I am experiencing a problem with my iPhone with IOS 18.0 and my Phonak hearing aids. When Bluetooth pairs my Phonak hearing aids to my iPhone, during telephone calls, the Bluetooth connection starts and stops every few seconds, making hearing my telephone call very difficult. My audiologist says that Apple and Phonak are both aware of this problem. Does anyone know if Apple is going to put out a fix for this problem any time soon?

hearing aids losing connectivity with iOS 16.6.1 I just lost connectivity this morning. I updated to 16.6.1 when it first was available and had no problems. Now, out of the blue, my hearing aids won't pair with my iPhone and won't connect to the app for my brand (Jabra). Found a thread with this issue from iOS 16.5 and followed recommended solution - it worked (turn off bluetooth and disconnect bluetooth from iPhone, reboot, turn back on). But, WHY is this happening suddenly and without any updates? I saw that iOS17 is available but I haven't updated. APPLE get this bug fixed!! People with hearing loss cannot use the phone if it won't connect to hearing aids!!

we're all users like yourself so, we process no insight into what external companies apple are working together with bug fixes, you can try to reach out to their support channels
