IOS 18.3.2 security issues? IOS 18.3.3?

I found it. The author got his “facts” wrong. Apple has not released 18.3.3. The vulnerability was in 18.3.1 and 18.3.2 plugged the vulnerability. Several commentators on the article noted the error. Author cited a Bloomberg article and Bloomberg got it right.

Those sorts of titles are usually what is called "clickbait." They sound very serious and urgent so you click on them and, while reading the article, are also exposed to the ads placed in the article. Usually, they end up saying something like "Apple says you should always keep your phone updated so that you have the latest security fixes."

And sometimes the articles are from days, weeks or months earlier.

I’d say it’s bogus since there is no 18.3.3.

To my knowledge, this is fake news.

The current iOS 18.3.2 version (not 18.3.3) fixes potential vulnerabilities.
