Assistive Access (still!) overrides Screentime Restrictions

I am reopening a very insightful post from May 2024 - because Apple has still not fixed it and it’s a major flaw for parents trying to manage screen time restrictions for their kids.

This forum won’t allow links to be posted, so you can Google the following title to find it…

”Assistive access overrides screen time restrictions”

This original post is still precisely what’s happening now. Kids can enter Assistive Access to bypass Screentime limits, and when you set a parent passcode to block access to Assistive Access, kids can reset it simply.

Please help Apple!
