iTunes doesn't recognise my backup

Recently I tried to update my iPhone 13 from iOS 16 to 18. I couldn't do it on my phone, because I didn't have enough space avalible, so i tried to do so using iTunes on my Windows PC.

During this process, iTunes makes a backup before updating, so i made enough space on my PC. After it finished the backup (I haven't received any information regarding it being succesful or not), my iPhone started updating.

Unfortunately, the installation has stopped and iTunes turned off. I was left with the instalation bar on my iPhone without the access to it. The only option was to turn on recovery mode. After several tries I still haven't managed to recover, update or even set my iPhone to default setttings.

Therefore, by getting help at authorised Apple Service, they managed to restore my iPhone 13 to default setting, but they informed me that all the data on my Iphone has been erased - probably becasue of my previous attempts.

Right now I have iPhone 13 with iOS 18 with default settings and I would like to restore all my data from backup that was made before my first attempt to update. The problem is that my iTunes doesn't recognise my backup file!

I tried a lot of things, including re-installing iTunes, creating new backup and switching names with previous one etc., but nothing works!

My previous backup is located in:

C:\Users\<User>\Apple\MobileSync\Backup

Is there a way to check if my backup from before the crash is working? Can I manually retrieve the data from it? The most important thing for me is all of my photos since 2017.

I would highly appreciate any help!

Should you have any additional questions I will be happy to give more information.
