vpn not connecting after i update to IOS 18.3

and if the vpn connected my network won’t be working, the iOS 18.3.1 version immediately I updated my vpn stopped connecting

Why does VPN need to be on for WiFi to work? Hi guys, has anyone faced this similar issue? Been using the iPhone 12 smoothly for some time now then suddenly the wifi connection won’t work until the vpn is turned on from the settings, after it ON the internet works smoothly, I’ve tried almost everything, can someone please assist if they’ve faced similar, it’s driving me nuts !

First may I ask why you need a VPN? They do not give you the increased security as they advertise, and in fact put your personal data at more risk. Unless you need a VPN for your school or employer, where it has a secure connection, you do not need it. Delete and uninstall it immediately.
