HomeKit menu is unable to recognize my Circle View Doorbell

Just purchased Circle view doorbell and trying to pair it with HomeKit on my Apple phone and HomeKit does not recognize it. How can I help it find it? I’ve tried standing in the number. I’ve tried sending the phone next to the device and I’ve tried entering the number manually, and it still can’t find the circle view and the HomeKit menu.
