I’m trying to use my camera or microphone on certain apps but when I click allow access n attempt to go to settings to allow access the option is not there

Hi, try to look in the Privacy & Security section, there are sections for camera and microphone. Check if the app is present there. If so, just enable the switch. If not, try to reinstall the app.
