iPhone 16 laggy video calls in FaceBook Messenger app only

Hi apple users, I’m on an iPhone 16 Pro Max, I need help with what I am experiencing. Whenever I’m doing a video call on the Facebook Messenger App, the front and back cam is laggy, but whenever I use whatsapp or telegram, the camera is normal.

again it’s a video call. Please someone help me especially to those who are using an iPhone 16 Pro Max and as well as using the Facebook Messenger App. Thank you very much!

Contact facebook. The problem is their app/service.

If the Facebook Messenger app is laggy when you use it, you need to contact their support. Apple cannot help you.

While you're waiting for an answer from them, you might try deleting the app and re-installing it. Sometimes that fixes little issues.
