Phone calls keep glitching

everytime when i call somebody on the regular phone app, it glitches out and gets more choppy as the call goes on, but when i call on different apps such as whatsapp , or if i call on facetime with somebody it’s clear, what’s going on?

You click on the person's name in the FaceTime app and it does nothing. After about a minute, the phone will do a hard reboot and everything works again for a little. On calls, if I have the phone on speaker, the phone will randomly turn off the speaker. On FaceTime and calls, if I have the phone on mute, it will randomly turn off the mute. Cellular connection has also been horrible. Using WiFi, it's not as bad. I’ve tried updating the phone on my Mac to see if it’s just a bad download, did not fix the issue. Tried restoring the phone, did not fix it either. Been in contact with Apple support and been told it’s most likely a buggy update and I should just wait for the next update to come in. My calls on FaceTime are now choppy.. I got a new phone and new number.. I never had issues before.. I have tried everything Got a new iPhone 12 and new number. Now my FaceTime calls are choppy

Incoming Facetime calls immediately end/drop Within the past few days, all the incoming Facetime calls I get simply end within one or two seconds without allowing me to accept the call. The banner or full screen display shows up and then ends on its own. It happens when I'm using DND and not using it. I thought updating to iOS 16 would help, but it continues to happen. Phone calls are not dropped (I tested this with a friend), so it's clearly something with Facetime. I did not change any settings either in the last week or so. Yes my internet and data connection is fine, I have restarted the phone as well. Any advice is appreciated! For reference, I am using an iPhone 12 Pro.
