Why are hidden apps still appearing on my iPhone 13?
I clicked hide and use Face ID on one of my apps and it isn’t in the hidden apps section. It just stays in the App Library and still requires face ID

According to Apple, here are a few main reasons why you may not be able to hide an app. Keep in mind you can only hide apps you separately download from the App Store.
- If you are under 13 in a Family Sharing group, you won’t be able to hide apps.
- Apps that come installed with iOS 18 or later can’t be hidden.
- Apps that are set by the user as default web browser or app marketplace (available only in the EU) can’t be hidden either.
Also when you say you used Face ID on one of your apps, then it still requires Face ID, that is the exact action it is supposed to perform.
