I am looking for an excellent replacement for my two 6th Generation AirPort Extreme units, that utilizes Ethernet to connect the two units, so as to permit the highest speed & handoff between the two units as devices are moved around the house.
Is there a clear optimal replacement, or objective rankings to which I can refer?

I referred to SmallNetBuilder suggested by Bob, The Wirecutter and other sites for research. I have been using the TP-Link Deco BE65 for the past month. It was easy to configure (application based step by step), provides a greater level of system detail than the Airport utility, has greater range and speed and the same slick look as the AirPort Extreme. I am very pleased and would recommend.
