Does anyone know how to fix the new cleanup function in the photos app on iOS 18.3.1, when I use it the glowing line instead of making corrections leaves large square pixel spots everywhere.
There is no other tool to make corrections anymore and this function isn’t working properly

If you use Clean Up on a face, it pixelates the face so you can show the picture to people without violating the subject's privacy.
It's cool to have that ability.
However, if you zoom in, the size of the Clean Up circle stays the same, even though the picture gets bigger, Clean Up doesn't see the whole face, so it doesn't pixelate.
Here, I've removed a number of spots on and around my great-uncle's face. (Since the spots are gone, I put circles where the spots used to be…)
Clean Up still seems to do the same stuff that Retouch did-- you just have to zoom in.

On your iPhone you may need to tap the blue line "Show more".
