Screenshot using only a swipe iPhone 13 Pro Max

On the iPad's I believe you can by swiping up from the bottom left. My guess is that the iPhone screen is just too small and that we utilize all the space so they wouldn't be able to put in a screenshot swipe.

You can use Backtap to take a screenshot, which doesn't require swiping or using buttons.

On my iPhone, I have it set to triple tap to take a screenshot.

Nope. Not even on iPad. I just tried and it most definitely doesn't take a screenshot. Here is the Apple Support article about taking a screenshot on iPad and no mention of swiping anywhere to take one --> Take a screenshot on your iPad - Apple Support

Really? Maybe they removed that feature but I distinctively remember that I used to be able to swipe up from the bottom left to take a screenshot. I did find this: Swiping up for a Screen shot on ipad - Apple Community

Hello ~ I keep Assistive Touch activated on iPad and iPhone. I use it so much I forgot I had this from the previous post by *Lotus Pilot* activated as well.

“Settings > MultiTasking & Gestures > 

• Swipe Finger from Corner - set to ON
• Bottom Left | Right Corner - select Screenshot for one, other or both gestures”

To take a screenshot on your iPhone, you must use the buttons. There is no current way to take a screenshot with a swipe, unlike the iPad.

Thanks. TBT, I still find using the side two buttons faster and easier. But at least there is another way, which doesn't require using buttons or swipes.

It "might" be possible to use hot corners on a MacBook --> Use hot corners on Mac - Apple Support

I was just about to write back. You CAN use Hot Corners on iPad. The options can be found in Accessibility settings on an iPad. And it appears one of the options you can choose is Screenshot.

And HOW 'BOUT THIS: You can use Hot Corners on iPhone too. You get to the setting in Accessibility, Touch, Assistive Touch, Hot Corners. So there is a way to swipe from a corner to take a screenshot.
