Since updating to iOS 18.3, my group texts with Android and iPhone users will not silence notifications. I’ve tried every combination of turning the toggles on and off in the settings, I’ve turned off Time Sensitive and Critical in the always deliver section, I’ve restarted the device over and over and nothing works. It’s driving me insane to not be able to mute these messages. Anyone successfully fix this?

Judging by the lack of responses here, no one has found a fix and we have to wait for Apple to hopefully address this issue in another software update. It’s driving me insane as well.
Yeah I keep checking these forums and other Apple sources every few days and it’s maddening that it’s not being acknowledged as a problem.
I’ve tried every trick on Reddit with no luck. Seems like at one time there was a mute conversation option that has now turned into “Hide Notifications” that is worthless.
