File app is not showing on the iTunes file-sharing list

Just downloaded the newest iTunes and checked the file sharing. All the apps that are available are actually ones I don't want to share with my pc. The Docs app and File app do not show up. There is no info on how to get the unwanted ones out and the wanted ones in. There was a post on 09Oct2022 but no answer that tells users how to accomplish it. So I am asking again...how do we get the Docs and File apps to show up in file sharing on iTunes? Please be specific, as I am not a computer programmer or expert in Windows or iTunes.

I have the iPhone 12 with iOS 17.7.2

Thank you in advance for your help.

All apps that support the iTunes File Sharing mechanism will display in that area when connected to iTunes. Files isn't one of them. If by Docs you mean Google Docs then clearly it doesn't support iTunes File Sharing either or it would show up there. Files can hold content from iCloud Drive and other cloud sharing data services like Dropbox, Google Drive, and One Drive. You use those services, either through an app on your computer, or their web pages, to add data to your cloud account or copy it from the cloud to local storage on your computer. If you are signed into your Google Account I would expect Google Docs to be connected to your Google Drive, it is for me.
