Does iTunes still provide a way to back up the iphone to a PC.
Itunes no longer shows my iphone when I plug into the pc. I previously backed up my phone to the computer using itunes. Is this option no longer available?

Yes, iTunes can still backup iPhone's onto a Windows PC.

This however can change if you have installed any of the stand alone Apple Apps from the Microsoft Store like Apple Music, Apple TV, or Apple Devices. If you have installed any of those on your PC, then you either need to remove them to get iTunes' full functionality back, or use the Apple Devices app to backup the iPhone.
