Intermittent MagSafe charging 14 plus

Hello I have a 14 plus running 18.2.1 when I try to charge on MagSafe it starts and then stops and restarts and then stops etc. I am charging without a phone case. Have shut down and restarted my phone several times and it charges fine with lightning cable. It charges ok on non MagSafe wireless chargers.

The charging is intermittent- it will charge for about ten seconds, then disconnect, charge for about ten seconds and then disconnect and repeat forever. MagSafe charging not working after iOS 17.3 Since installing iOS 17.3 on both an iPhone 15 Pro Max and an iPhone 12 Pro I’ve been waking up in a morning with my phone being on low charge percentage despite my phone being connected to a MagSafe charger all evening. When on the charger I can see the light turning on and off repeatedly as if the phone is starting and stopping to draw power continuously. I’ve also witnessed this behaviour using 3 different branded MagSafe chargers that all worked perfectly fine before iOS 17.3. Anyone else experiencing this?

Take your MagSafe and charger to your local Apple Retail Store to have to inspected.

If a defect is detected, ask about a replacement.
