Why does Apple TV+ keep asking for a free trial when I have subscription?
when I try to watch a show on apple plus it keeps asking if I want a free trial I already have a subscription

Is this for Apple content or one of the other services? By selecting the Apple TV+ tab in the sidebar, you will only see the Apple content that is included in your subscription, but if you choose the Home tab, you will see other channels such as Starz or Paramount+. Those are other services that will need a subscription to view their content and will usually start out with a Free Trial.
