Apple TV saying free trial but I have a subscription

When I open app I only see free trial

The Apple TV+ subscription covers content from the Apple TV+ catalog. Other content in the Apple TV app may require a different subscription.

The Apple TV+ subscription is linked to your Apple ID account. That means that subscription content becomes available when signed in with that Apple ID account. Not other accounts. It is the only way that the app can know if a valid subscription applies.


On iPad, the Apple ID account for the device is used for the Apple TV app as well. If registered with a different Apple ID account, consider grouping through Family Sharing.

On third party devices, sign in to the Apple TV app, through the in-app Settings (sprockets wheel icon), using the Apple ID account that has the subscription(s) and/or purchases linked to it.
