Unable to identify my Photo's in Shared Album

My family had Christmas together. We made a shared album for 8 of us. Since many photos are similar, we each planned to delete our lesser quality photos, as there over a thousand, but since Apple stripped all the identifiers, we can't tell which are ours. Is there any way to mark or differentiate our own photos? Otherwise, the whole idea of shared albums is worthless.

You can add a comment to your Photo, when you share it. When you open a photo in the Shared album to view it enlarged, you will see a speech bubble in the lower left corner. Click this to add a description right after you share the photo and still know, that it is yours.

You can also see who shared a photo in the Activity stream. There you will find all photos you shared in one place.

It may help to ask all subscribers to share only the very best photos to begin with and add missing photos later. The shared albums are downloaded to all devices of all subscribers, unless you only share it as a public webpage, so it is not very considerate to a create shared album with thousand photos.
