My iPhone is frequently not ringing for some incoming calls. Sometimes call goes straight to voicemail, sometimes it doesn’t. I have tried checking all settings but can’t seem to fix problem. Any suggestions?

Adding to that, are the missed calls listed in Recents in the Phone app? If not, then they're not getting to your iPhone at all, and that's something you'll need to talk to your cell carrier about. If they're appearing in Recents, then adding to what SravanKrA said, see if the missed calls are coming from numbers not in your Contacts. If that's the common factor, go to your Phone app settings and if "Silence Unknown Callers" is turned on, turn it off.
