After all the updates , reinstall and following the suggestions and instructions on various threads , still can not find the Home Videos tab for my videos ! This is a recent development! My laptop had no issues before and Home Videos was always as part of the “movies “ lists in the Edits ! Any suggestions on how to recover the Home Videos will be appreciated

As far as I can tell your library needs to have at least one video where the media kind has been set to Home Video. I've just tried adding a video to my library and had to locate it using a smart playlist with the rule Date Added is in the last 1 days. It was initially treated as a music video, even though the Options tab in preferences showed it as a Home Video. I changed the Media Kind first to Music Video, then back to Home Video, and applied. At that point the Movies subsection of the library gained a Home Videos section.

Up until couple months ago , on the same laptop , I did have a Home Video tab that has over 100 video contents ! That’s what I’m trying to recover and locate !

One more thing to check while you are in the Movies section of the library is to hover to the right of the word Library at the top of the side bar and tap Edit when it appears. If Home Videos is in the list but not checked you can check that now, then click Done. Occasionally iTunes updates will mess with previous preference options.
