After iOS 18.2 update, Major Camera Issue on iPhone 16 Pro Max

This is 100% the update’s fault. This entire update is a downgrade and nuisance

No, you cannot downgrade to an earlier version of iOS. Are you at the latest version, 18.2.1?

Have you changed any settings in regard to display refresh rate? Are you using Enhanced Stabilization, HDR or Auto FPS?

Yes! I’ve had nothing but blurry pictures and continuous lag when taking photos. I photograph in action and never had an issue before. Not anymore! Capture (and audible click) is a good 5 seconds behind the actions as it’s unable to even locate my subject. Don’t get me started on low light, it’s near impossible. This entire update is beyond frustrating

I am having similar issues with my iPhone 12. iOS 18 has been buggy, but the absolute worst are the camera issues. I’ve be Installing bug fix updates as soon as they are released but as of iOS 18.3 the camera issues IS NOT FIXED.

The camera opens focused, but then immediately blurs itself and will not clear again. I have to close the app and reopen. If I ever dare to zoom, I have to reboot my phone for it to open in focus.

Videos do shoot in focus - this is not a hardware issue. Pictures blur.

Are you shooting with a tripod or without a tripod?

Hi I have the same issue. after update FaceID doesnt work and i cant reset it as it says “stolen device protection is on” and when I try to turn it off it requires face Id that doesnt work. 😔
