Find My showing 2 month old location for lost iPad

i lost it and when i use find my, it says “2 months ago” and it also shows offline. how do i find it? can apple help?

If it won't show a more current location - and if the iPad is off or can't contact a Wi-Fi or cell network or another device nearby, it can't - then there's no way to locate it remotely. Apple cannot help with this. You'll have to keep hoping it eventually provides an updated location, and meanwhile just keep looking for it.
