Will the LG 27MD5KLB-B work with both 2018 Mac Mini OS X 10.14.6 and a 2024 Mac Mini OS X 15.1 using a KVM Switch?

I recently "upgraded" my 2013 Mac Pro with a Thunderbolt display to a 2018 Mac Mini to keep my older apps in 10.14.6 but have the updated architecture. I also bought a 2024 Mac Mini with the new OS X 15 for current apps and websites that require the new OS. The Thunderbolt 2 display with the TB2 to USB-C adapter can work plug and play with both computers fine, but the 2018 Mac MIni cannot work through a Sabrent Thunderbolt KVM switch I bought.

I understand the Apple Studio display will not work with the OS 10.14.6 Mac Mini as that OS is too old. LG claims that the display works with all Mac OS from 10.14.6 to the current OS.

My question is: If I replace the Thunderbolt display with the LG 27MD5KLB-B display, will I be able to use a current KVM switch to go back and forth such as the Sabrent Thunderbolt KVM switch? Or am I stuck manually changing the display cable as I do now with the Thunderbolt display?
