Inaccurate screen time on iPhone

I have problem in my phone since 1&2 days . I can’t see the phone screen time accurately, today I used 3-4 hours but time is see only 5 minute . What is the issue .

iPhone screen time inaccurate How does iPhone calculate total screen time ? I add up how much time I have used on each app. The total is no more than 4.7 hours . Yet the iPhone reports that my screen time is 7 hours . Isn’t the point of screen time function to help reduce time spent on the iPhone ?? Yet if these readings are so inaccurate, the screen time function serves nothing more than to cause a whole lot of frustration !!!

Screen time acting strange Hello, immediately after installing ios 18 my screen time suddenly changed to 16 hours average even though the accurate screen time was 1-2 hours a week. What’s strange is that the screen time bars that show you when the phone was being used showed the highest usage time during 12:00am to 6:00am which is when I am asleep and my phone is shut down. I don’t understand why it is showing that. I have tried closing background app refresh and even resetting my screen time but i don’t know why my phone is showing 10+ hours used at night. It also changed my previous screen times of the past weeks as well so my screen time of last week was 1 hr 50 min but after ios 18 is transformed to 16 hours. I am not sure what i can do to fix this.

It could be that your date and time is set wrong. Go to settings then general then click date and time. You should be able to manually change it there and hopefully it’ll stick.
