I want to download windows for free on my MacBook, I want to download this safely without getting any viruses.

The only way you can use Windows on a M-series Mac is Windows 11 ARM in Parallels for Mac. You will need to pay for both the Parallels subscription and the Windows license, as appropriate for the version(s) you intend to use.
Slight correction - looks like VMWare Fusion Player may now support Windows 11 - in which case you can get the VM application for free. But, VMWare Player is not as fully featured as VMWare, it will have poorer performance and you may (will) need to do a fair bit more tinkering to gets Windows 11 ARM set up.
