Is there any downside upgrading to iOS 18.2 on my iPhone 13?

Updating an iPhone:

Aside from updating through WiFi, you can update through a computer or Cellular.

• Cellular: Use an iPhone 12 or later, that is using 5G, in order to update over Cellular - User Tip

Updating and iPhone 13 to iOS18:

iOS18 has been out for more than a week. I usually wait a week to install updates, and then move forward with it.

Backup Prior to Updating:

IMPORTANT: If you have an option to update, however, then be certain you backup your iPhone first. That way, you will have something to restore your iPhone from should anything go wrong with the update

Downgrading:

No. With iOS18, You can only roll back to iOS17.7; but, t needs to be installed first.

Downside to Upgrading:

Overheating is reported on these forums as of this reply. So, seeing so many reports, I'm still holding off for another week, until the next update.
