Same as always. You'll be dealing with bug-du-jour for a year. <Insert your favourite app> doesn't run anymore.
If there is something in iOS 17 that you really want, then do the upgrade. If you believe any of the security paranoia that people post on the internet, then do the upgrade.
If you are happy with your device now, don't worry, be happy.
