Links open apple store instead of the apps

Links open apple store instead of app

While using safari and click on a link to a website page of an app I have on my phone, a notification appears to either use the app or view via browser. If I choose open the app it opens apple store instead. Even if I click on the app to open it the link doesn’t come up. In the past versions of iOS, the link would immediately open the app.

My phone is up to date as well as the apps and i cleared my safari cookies.
