How can I display only latest episodes in Apple Podcasts Library?

When I open Apple Podcasts/Library/Latest Episodes, I really only want to see the "latest episodes," not any previous episodes.  If I want to see previous episodes, I can find them on the individual podcast show's page.  I used to only see the "latest" episodes in "Latest Episodes" but it seems like something changed so now I see multiple episodes of the same podcast in Library/Latest Episodes.  For example, NPR News Now updates hourly with a new episode and when I open my Library/Latest Episodes, I really only want to see the latest NPR News Now podcast, not the ones from 2 hours ago, 3 hours ago, or later episodes (who wants to listen to old news?).  What settings do I need to change so I only see the actual "latest" episodes in Library/Latest Episodes?  Thanks.
