Trying to add my US gov id and apple business connect will not accept it. What do I do to get it to accept the number? The error message is: "Unable to validate Government ID at this time." Try again later. The number is correct. I have tried adding multiple ways and it still will not accept the number. I have also tried, trying again later and that has not helped either. Happening on multiple devices.
I am having the same issue entering our EIN - it has been the worst experience trying to validate our business with Apple. Google was a long process but worked. The Apple system doesn't even call the business number listed to try to verify that way and it's impossible to get someone on the phone to help. Awful system/customer service all round.
