I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max that just had switched its iCloud account. I tried to back it up to iCloud but the estimated time just kept increasing, minute by minute. I even left it overnight but the time increased to 5 hours.

Normal behavior if this is the first time or a long time backing up to icloud.
Before you go to bed, connect to wifi, plug to power source, lock the device and leave it alone to do it's thing.
I phone backup increasingly increasing estimated backup time
