Iphone 15 not printing after IOS 18 update. Only 1 device not working

We have an iPhone 15 ProMax that stop printing after the iOS 18 update. We also have an iPhone 15 Pro that printed fine after the update as to the two iPad tens or MacBook and our Mac workstation.I have checked and rebooted the phone, the printer, and the network connection, Reset the phone, and rebooted everything again and again. That one device continues to not print. We currently only have one printer enabled, it is an Epson WF – 7840 Print attempts from this one device are not showing in the print queue, so I can only assume something on the phone is blocking the communication And I do not know what. I appreciate any help I can get.Thank you so much.

Thanks again. Yes i nave checked Epson and there is no documented compatibility problem, and i have three other iOS 18 devices that print without issue. I am also able to print from the Epson SmartPrint App- it is just the native print that fails. It does not appear that the device is even queuing the jobs.

I guess i need to try the “reset all settings” and see if that resolves the issue. Based on my research I am out of other alternatives, and since I have already reset the network setting, I am skeptical. But… here’s hoping…

Do you have a 3rd party VPN installed, even if you are not using it? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile. If that fixes it, you can try reinstalling VPN.

Thank you. No there is not a VPN set up on the phone. I have been through the Airprint trouble shooting and have continues to fail. I really appreciate your taking the time to respond.

Have you checked for printer firmware updates? It is known that some versions of Epson firmware are not compatible with iOS 18, but Epson has a fix for it.
