iPhone 15 -Randomly changing settings

At 3am two days ago, I woke up and lifted my phone to check time. Somehow my iPhone 15 devices I should be using “eye tracking”. Eventually (and fully awake) I managed to disable eye tracking. Then this evening while cooking dinner my phone “pinged” for a text messsge. When I picked up the phone, the home screen had zoomed in to a point it was unusable. I then tried to power off the phone, which resulted in the phone deciding the situation was an emergency so it called the emergency services and sent messages to all my emergency contacts.

This iPhone was purchased in March 2024, (I have owned a multitude of iPhone models from the very first one) and from the very beginning this phone has been a mistake.

My provider in ireland (Eir) have been as useful as a chocolate T-pot.

Curious if I’m the only iPhone 15 users having issues

If you feel an unauthorized person/app is remotely using, controlling or monitoring your device, then that is possible only if you have done one or more of the following Don'ts...

  1. Don't hand over an iPhone to kids or to a stranger without Enabling Guided Access
  2. Don't share Apple IDs
  3. Don't Jailbreak
  4. Don't share sensitive information pertaining to your device
  5. Don't give in to Phishing
  6. Don't plug in your device in Airports and Public places through third-party cables and trust the device. Beware of Juice Jacking. (Especially in India)
  7. Don't leave your iPhone unlocked and unattended in public places like offices, schools, malls, etc.

If one of the above is true then quickly change the Apple ID Password and Return iPhone settings to their defaults.
