Wallpaper auto blur issue on my iPhone 16 Pro

Why would you make the wallpaper automatically blur to white at the top and then also make the time and wifi/signal icons white? You should be able to chose if you want any blur or not. In most cases the time will change to black when a page shows up white, but I can’t customize it in the home screen. Doesn’t make much sense

I appreciate the feedback. I might just photoshop a black gaussian blur on the top area of the photo and see if that helps. Black text and icons at the top would be nice, but I’ll get it sorted out. thanks.

It’s just a photo that I took. iOS automatically makes it blur to white at the top. When you set a wallpaper you can chose blur and that just blurs the wallpaper with the color tones of the photo, but I don’t have blur selected and it still blurs the top. If my time was black it would be fine, but the iPhone doesn’t allow you to customize it. I’ll attach a photo.
