Wallpaper blur on iPhone lock screen

My wallpaper has a blur at the top of it on my lock screen how do i get rid of that?

iPhone top of lockscreen wallpaper blurry It seems that with certain pictures the phone is adding a white blur to the top of it where the clock and date is shown. Is there a way to it off and I don’t mean the blue you can do for the Home Screen, this is on the actual Lock Screen.

ios 17 wallpaper top blur After updating to iOS 17 the top half of the wallpaper is getting blurred on both homescreen and lockscreen even when not desired, and there is no way to turn this off. I tried changing to multiple wallpapers with different aspect ratios but the issue still persists. It is starting to get bothersome, please help.

Open Settings App.

Tap Wallpaper and then tap the wallpaper on the right you use for your home screens

Tap Customize

On the bottom right hand corner tap Blur to turn it off
