Apple Music crashing after macOS Sequoia 15.2 update

I updated my macbook to Sequoia 15.2 and my apple music app crash when I move newly added songs in a playlist. I stopped sync in menu and restarted laptop and started sync again. No songs on my playlist that are not downloaded on computer shows on playlist.

Also experiencing this since I updated to Sequoia 15.2, and finally identified the conditions under which this happens, as well as a workaround:

If you drag and drop a song in a playlist, and that playlist is set to view "as Playlist" in the "View" settings, and the song you try to drag does not have an album title, then Apple Music main thread crashes with a swift::swift_dynamicCastFailure.

If you try to drag the same song with the "View" set to "as Songs", or any other view besides "as Playlist", then there is no crash.

If you edit the metadata of the song to have an album title, and then allow the playlist UI to refresh by clicking on the playlist in the sidebar again, and then attempt to drag the song, then the app will not crash.

In contrast, if you edit a song without an album title to have an album title, save, but do not allow the playlist UI to refresh (so that the UI is still not showing an album title), and then try drag the song, the app will crash.

This is reproducible every time.

This is a SwiftUI bug and has nothing to do with the specific of the song, or even the underlying metadata. The temporary workaround is to view your playlists "as Songs".

The above fix does nothing for me. Viewing all as songs and still crashed when I try to play a song in a playlist. Also, just playing a song out of my song library in Music (not a playlist) isn't workinh properly either. No matter which song I click on it wants to play either some random podcast or a totally different song (the same one each time, no matter which song I click on)?? Also, couldnt find Apple Music app in the playstore to update it.

I think I just found a solution that works for my issue. I went to the settings in the app to check the media file location and make sure it was still correct. Even though the folder the files are stored in was still the designated location for the media, I found that resetting it then changing it back to the same folder again worked. Not sure why, but at least now I can play any song from any playlist just fine.
