The situation is as follows:
-I’ve been told from Customer Support that Apple Intelligence is indeed rolled out in the Republic of Ireland, and I’ve spent over an hour going through Settings, changing regions, doing resets, than, the representative escalated it to the Senior Customer Support representative and I’ve got a new call, spent quite a lot (2h maybe) on the phone with the lady and she has said what I’ve already wrote here, that it’s been rolled out in ROI, but, that she’ll communicate with me over email and now, I’m not getting any calls, emails etc. although it’s obviously their mistake in naming countries, I’m baffled that Apple did such a messy job of Apple Intelligence in Ireland. I don’t need to read between the lines, I’ve openly asked about EU and I’ve been told that it doesn’t matter for Ireland, like, it’s English speaking country.
This is not the brilliance of Apple, I’ll admit it first, although I do love Apple, but, if you mess up, you don’t tell lies to customers which are asking about the service or product which is far from cheap, and loyal to Apple since iPhone 4S (2012.).
Okay, hopefully, iPhone 16 Pro Max will be worth the 5 months of Apple Intelligence as I’ve cashed out full price for both iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 Pro Max until the next iPhone which I’m skipping until they realise they live of people which are buying all Apple ecosystems, not just iPhones over carrier.
Cheerio.
