Quicktime open video without playing it

I want Quicktime to open video and playing it automatically, i do not see any preferences, where am i supposed to set that please ?

QuickTime Player opens media files without starting playback. There are no app settings to change this.

Consider other media player software if you prefer auto-playback (VLC, IINA).

You can change the default application to open files from its suffix (.mp4, .mov, etc.), if you want.
