The same thing happened to me when I updated my iOS system to 18.1.1! I believe it may be SiriusXM‘s way of getting people to use their new app. I prefer the old one as I am more familiar with it and can navigate around easier. They let you use both apps for a while, but I think now when you update the to the latest iOS, it renders the old SiriusXM app to a useless state. That is the music that is being streamed, cuts out every five minutes. Very frustrating and I’m thinking that SiriusXM should be upfront about this and send everyone a notice and newsletter specifying what’s going on.
