Impossible to accept "New iCloud Terms & Conditions"on iPhone SE running latest iOS


I am using an iPhone SE (1st Generation) running the latest iOS 15.8.3 (19H386).


Since a couple of weeks, I am unable to accept the "New iCloud Terms & Conditions" that gets displayed under my Apple ID profile.


Though, albeit clicking on "Continue", nothing is moving forward with the navigation. The little right circle is idling all the time. See screen dump hereafter:



What can I do here further? Even rebooting the device does not help further :-(

Perhaps the next step regarding this symptom

would be to replace the old device, with newer

and then relative newest software may run?


..Fairly much, that's about all one may do..

I've one of the same 1st-edition SE iPhone.


But I've no problems. As I know, it won't see

an upgrade beyond iOS 15.x level. ~ A hope

in this area, might include a patch; or other

helpful 'security update' for this last iOS.

..While that has not been officially stated..

When you try to accept the new iCloud terms and conditions on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro, you might see an error message that says: "Cannot Complete Action. This action cannot be completed at this time." To fix this issue, update your iPhone or iPad to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS, or your Apple Vision Pro to the latest version of visionOS.

I have tried the usual suggestions given with the "Apple users unable to accept new iCloud terms and conditions" article, to quote:


If you’re facing this issue, you might want to try some community-recommended fixes. Start by restarting your device and then attempting to accept the terms again. Another option is to turn off Wi-Fi and switch to mobile data, which has occasionally helped users move past the glitch. You could also try logging out of iCloud and then back in. Just remember to back up any important data first. Alternatively, some have had success by accepting the terms on a different Apple device linked to the same Apple ID, like a MacBook or iPad.


Though, none of the suggestions described did work for me. I am still struggling to accept the "New iCloud Terms & Conditions" on my iPhone SE (1st generation) running the very latest iOS version available today.


Any further hints from the community?
