Undued and Recurring charges by Apple Store. Already complaint and asked to cancel the app, but keeps charging.

Apple Store is charging me in-app Purchases for a game that I am not using at all. It has charged me over USD 400 in the past 2 months. I have already called several instances, asked to cancel the game, requested reimbursement and the problem doesn’t get resolved and the game keeps charging my account even after been cancelled and uninstalled.

Not using an app or deleting it, does not automatically make the subscription go away. For any subscription started in the App Store whether it was a free trial that later becomes a subscription or not, you must use this method to cancel it.

For any subscription whether it was through Apple or not, it is a legal contract that you agree to pay until cancelled and it is the bank of the card used that is honoring that contract. Credit Cards use a service called Automatic Billing Updater that will transfer any recurring payments to a new account number, so changing the card will have no effect. That is done by the bank of the issued credit card, so you will need to contact them to make sure that does not happen. They are the ones that approve the charges. Some subscriptions are yearly, so you may not see that charge until a year later. For any fraudulent transaction, as always. you should dispute it with the credit card company as they approved the fraudulent transaction. You can learn more about Automatic Billing Updaters provided by the different card processing networks here:

i’ve had apps that had been unused and, I don’t know the correct terminology, but dead in the water for months, going on years, and all of a sudden they were just reactivated for subscription fees out of nowhere. So me canceling them or literally just letting them go off and canceling my card and shutting the car down did nothing I mean like there should be a time limit on The period time a subscription fee can be charged to someone’s account when not in use. We see people get sick, phones, get lost, phones get stolen, people lose their passwords, etc. And the subscription fees can be charged to your account at any point in time and this universe, the world. Even after death, in theory, this is what holds true in my mind at the moment, you didn’t cancel the subscription yourself as the account holder. so to be able to be charged subscription fees to your account even in death is a little ridiculous man. For real though I mean, think about it it is like that if that is the case that it will never stop until you actually cancel it yourself as the account holder. That means in death, my grandchildren and grandchildren, if my account still open are gonna be charged these fees. That is crazy right I mean you can tell that I’m kind of open minded I think outside of the box because I mean, no one else is talking about this crap. But it holds through is completely logical, and I know that for a fact, it will happen under the current policies and procedures of Apple Incorporated.
