When I click on "join waitlist" I receive the following error
Unable to Join the Wait list
There may be a problem connecting to the network or server. Try again in a few minutes.
Been going on for two days now as I thought maybe the server was just busy at first. any ideas?

So, I had the same problem. so after the update it kinda asked me to sign in again, accept terms and conditions and update phone number. Basically everything that was on my notifications in setting. And now tried again and was able to join the wait list. Let me know if it works : )
I restarted several times but still failed.
After I sign out of my apple account, it worked. Hope it's helpful for you
Yesterday when it wasn't working I attempted a restart to no avail. Today I figured what the heck I'll restart again. Fixed the issue. as a service desk manager I probably should have tried this step first
I have the exact same problem. I has been several days. Sometimes in the morning I see "joined waitlist", but it takes forever to join, and after restart it disappears! I really hope this could be fixed.
Exactly! Sometimes it says I’ve joined the waitlist after clicking on it a bunch of times and it’s saying “server error. cannot join waitlist” then I will look back at it and suddenly it says that I’ve joined the waitlist, but then I restart it and it says I need to join the waitlist again very strange
Same thing happening to me too. I've dried dozens of times. Waited a couple hours tried again and no luck.

it works when i sign out of my account and i got the AI but Apple AI it gets disabled after i sign back into my account
