Keyboards (A1314) no longer pair with Mac mini (Sequoia OS).

I installed OS sequoia on my Mac mini about 10 days ago. Today on start-up when the sign-in page comes up, the mouse pairs but the keyboard doesn't. None of the keys work. I tried my other (previously working) A1314 keyboard and the same thing happened. There is an option on the sign-in page to click for password recovery. When I do that, another screen comes up to receive a 6 digit password from another device. When the page to enter the recovery password comes up I can type the numbers in with the keyboards (both) and they work fine. When I reboot and try to type in the password to open the computer neither one works.
