Unable to unlock iPhone 16 Pro Max post iOS update

I got my new iPhone 16 pro max today. Trying to set it up, it did the IOS update. Now when it finally got done w that the swipe up will not unlock the phone, nor do I have the ability to type in my passcode. Just keeps going w the “hello” in various languages till it times out. Have force quit it a few times to no avail. And of course she’s heating up nicely too. I have a 5g signal but no WiFi on it which should of switched over and hasn’t completed the transfer of my old iPhone
