Podcasts Queue Resets Itself

I’m trying to reorder my podcast queue to the order I want, but every time I put a podcast in the place I want, it jumps back to where it was. How do I fix this?

Podcast queue reordering issue on Apple Podcasts The newest version has changed the ease of ordering my podcast queue. I listen to several podcasts, but I want to try and listen to them in a certain order. When I go to my queue to change the order, it doesn’t allow me to drag the change. Or should I say, I can drag an episode to where I want it in the queue, but then it snaps back to its original position in the queue. Or sometimes I can change one, exit, and then come back to change another, exit, and so on. Is this user error or something that needs to be on Apple’s end? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

No longer possible to sort episodes in Podcast app queue I can no longer sort or rearrange episodes in the Podcast app queue (iOS 18.2.1). When you sort episodes with the three-bar "slider icon," the top and bottom episodes of the 6 episodes visible can no longer be selected at all and if you move any episode above or below the 6 visible ones (even when you let go of the slider) all of the episodes get re-scrambled in a new random order after a few seconds. The entire idea behind this functionality is now completely broken.
