call takes up entire screen when iPhone is locked.

Is there a way so when my phone locks my call doesn't take up the entire screen?

every time I pick up my phone during a call, I end up hitting the end call button as it's right next to the home button, it's quite annoying and very inconvenient.

Ongoing call Info/Menu showing up on lock screen So, I recently switched from Android to iOS and was wondering if this can be turned off. When a call is in progress and you unlock the phone (Via any method), instead of showing the lock screen or the home screen, we see the ONGOING CALL UI. Can this be turned off? As I am afraid I may accidentally click a random button or disconnect the call. If we cannot disable it, is there any other alternative? Note : I generally use Face ID to unlock my phone, iPhone 13 Pro max, iOS : 15.6.1 (19G82)

can't use keypad during call During a phone call I can't access the keypad. I can't even hang up the call. I have to wait for the other party to hang up before my screen will return.
