Siri not responding on iphone 16 pro

It is so annoying that you spend more than $1000 to get an upgraded device and prefer using the older version. I am a frequent user of Siri which i never noticed until i got the 16 pro and Siri is acting up. ‘Hey Siri or Siri’ does not respond and using the side button activates Siri but the responses are slow. I have tried different methods listed on several sites and some work temporarily. I hope this is something that is being worked on because it is disappointing.
