‘Siri’ or ‘hey Siri’ isn’t responding on my new week old iPhone 16 pro running iOS18. It works when I press and hold the side button, but won’t respond to voice. I’ve tried turning the feature off and back on, thereby recalibrating the voice side of things, but still not joy.
There appear to be no other issues with the phone.
Anybody else experiencing the same?

Mine won’t even work with side button.
Siri stopped working today. Works with side button. Tried all the advice on here. Restarting my phone makes Siri work again but only for a short while. Hope this gets sorted.
Yes! I’ve Since the end of September had my iPhone 16 Pro since the first day it became available. Siri has so many times I am sick of shutting my phone off and turning It on again! Another thing that’s not working is my talk to text, it takes about three seconds after I stop speaking To output the text

I’m having the same issue with Siri. I got it working temporarily but it’s failing again. I’ve only had this phone for 5 days.

My 16 ProMax says voice controls are no longer listening.
Siri is not responding. I count on her a lot. Will this be an ongoing problem? Looks like I’m not the only one. Also l can’t get my recording microphone to work either. What a problem…not happy about that either 🤞🏼

Mines not working either. I have the 16 plus on ios18
My Siri only works when I use my air pods on my iPhone 16 when I take them off the only way Siri works is by holding the power button.
Mine doesn’t respond to hey siri and won’t follow out commands I have to use the side button a few times before anything happens. Is there a bug fix coming soon??
